ArtsFest Gala
Friday, March 27th, 7:00 PM at the Nordstrom Recital Hall at Benaroya Hall.
Students will have a regular school day, but performers will leave school at 12:45 PM for rehearsal at Benaroya.
Gala tickets will be available at the door the night of the performance at 6:15 PM. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students. We expect a full house so we suggest you arrive early, as no reservations will be taken. Any family needing financial assistance should contact Alice Dunlap by calling the school or emailing office@northwestschool.org; please be sure to state your name and how many tickets are needed.
ArtsFest
ArtsFest runs Monday, March 30th thru Friday, April 3rd, with specific focus on a particular medium each day -dance, theatre, visual arts and music. The special class schedule is as follows:
Monday
Regular classes, all students tour Dance exhibitions from 2-3:30 PMTuesday
Regular classes, all students attend Theatre performances from 2-3:30 PMWednesday
Regular classes with students viewing visual arts during their regular arts classes, no schedule change.Thursday
Regular classes, all students enjoy music recitals from 2-3:30 PMFriday
No regular classes, all students enjoy Arts Celebration.
School lets out at 11:30 AM
Student works will be displayed at neighborhood businesses. On Thursday, April 2nd, friends and families are invited to join Northwest School Artwalk, a self-guided walking tour of all the installations, from 5-7:00 PM. Venues include Kaladi Brothers Coffee, Bauhaus Books and Coffee and the NWS Business Annex.
