Jan Chiles. Assistant Head for Finance and Operations.
B.S.W., graduate studies (Social Work), University of Washington. Her expertise in social work was in the treatment of adolescent and adult chemical dependency. Jan is responsible for the Finance, Dining Services, Facilities, Network Technology, Human Resources and Financial Aid departments at NWS. She is a NWS alumni parent (1995). She volunteers as a co-chair for the National Business Officer's Association leading their Strategic Planning process. Additionally, she is one of the 32 senior business managers in the Unites States invited to be a member of the Association of Business Managers in Independent Schools. Prior to NWS, she worked in for-profit businesses; she was a Marketing Director, CEO and Director of Operations (NW Region) for a nationwide health care provider, and also worked as a clothing buyer and manager of a retail clothing store, and in the wholesale clothing industry. At NWS since 1992.

Jonathan Hochberg. Director of Financial Aid, Project Manager.
B.A. (Theatre, Literature, Philosophy), Sarah Lawrence College. Jonathan was a professional actor for a number of local companies, including Alice B. Theatre, Annex Theatre, Greek Active Theatre, ACT, The Empty Space, and more. His interests include jazz, birds, food, and parenting, though not necessarily in that order. At NWS since 1999.

AnQue La. Accounts Receivable Coordinator.
A.A.S., Highline Community College. Born to a Chinese family in Vietnam, AnQue has had extensive experience in computerized file management and accounting records control for Highline Community College and for the Safeco Insurance Co. Her son graduated from NWS in 2008. At NWS since 1999.

Janice Johnson. Controller.

Tracey Lyman. Human Resources Manager.
B.S. (Business Administration, PR and Organizational Communication), California State University, Hayward; Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified. Tracey has been practicing Human Resources for over 20 years, in industries as diverse as environmental engineering, design and construction, music, hospitality, high-tech consulting and non-profit. Her HR experience focused on training, compensation, company culture and employee relations, believing that a company's most valuable assets are the people who work there. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, is a Board Member for the Youth Suicide Prevention Program, and volunteers as a book reader for the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library. Joined NWS in 2009.

Jodi Mikesell. Accounts Payable Coordinator.
B.A. (Art History & Architecture), University of Washington. After nine years of running her own historical clothing company, Jodi’s experience in business led her into the accounting field. Prior to joining The Northwest School, she worked for such companies as Amazon.com, One Reel, and Hewlett Packard. On weekends she satiates her creative side by building costumes for Teatro Zinzanni, volunteering at The Seattle Art Museum, and dreaming of travel abroad. At NWS since 2011.
