Van Nguyen. Summer Camp Director.
B.A. (Art History & Asian Studies), Tulane University; M.A. (Asian Studies), University of Hawaii, Manoa; year of study (Franco-Vietnamese Artists), Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales; Vietnamese Advanced Summer Institute (including lessons in Vietnamese opera), Fulbright Hays Group Study Abroad. Van's work encompasses complete support and development of the NWS Summer Camp, which brings students from all over the world together for community learning. Van recently returned to Seattle after having spent a year in Vietnam and France with her family. She enjoys cooking, eating, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and toddler. She is fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in ordering food in French.

Eugenie Lemerle. Summer Camp Registrar & Administrative Assistant.
B.A. (French), UCLA; Master of International Business, IESEG School of Management, Lille, France. Eugenie spent 2.5 years living in France teaching English and then completing a master’s program and marketing internship with a French company. Originally from the Seattle-area, she is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest! Eugenie’s interests include traveling, tennis and sailing. She is also fluent in French.
