Pizazz!

This year's fundraising event, Pizazz!, will be held Saturday, May 1st at 6:00 pm to benefit the Paul Raymond Financial Aid Endowment Fund.

For those of you who joined us last year, you know what an unforgettable event it was. Join us this year and you will experience an evening unlike any other. Stroll along a torch-lit pathway to Lake Washington. Crossing over the creek, you'll come upon a festive tent among the trees. A gourmet meal will be served, and dinner will be filled with surprises. Table themes will include Witches & Wizards, China, Flappers, Paparazzi, Singin' in the Rain, and grandparent Larry Hagman will be in full Major Nelson mode as he presides over the I Dream of Jeannie table!

If you'd like to be a Table Captain, please contact the Development Office as soon as possible. Each Table Captain is responsible for choosing a theme (a list of suggestions is available, or choose your own!) and working with the Décor Committee in choosing appropriate table elements to engage guests during dinner. While putting together a table of 10 is the goal, if a Table Captain has fewer guests, places can be filled as tickets are purchased.

After dinner, guests will learn how important attending NWS was to alumni who could not have attended if they had not been granted financial aid. A Raise-the-Paddle will benefit the Paul Raymond Financial Aid Endowment Fund. It is essential, especially now, to build our financial aid endowment so that we can provide access to the amazing education The Northwest School offers.

What fun party would be complete without a Dessert Dash? Each table will pool their contributions, with the hopes of having first choice among 25 delicious desserts. Every table gets to choose a dessert, and there will be an incredible variety including donations from local bakeries and restaurants, as well as talented parents and students.

Now is the time to get a group of friends together (10 to a table, please), choose a theme, and save the date! Our committee has plenty of ideas if you need creative inspiration. But don't delay, this event is certain to sell out!

Tickets are $125, $250, and $500 per person, and include valet parking, specialty cocktails, gourmet seated dinner with wine, and entertainment. Dress is casual, and flat shoes are a must (please leave your stilettos at home!). Each guest will be given a "wearable" decor item to fit their table theme (last year these included tutus for the Ballet table, eye patches for the Pirates, leis for the Hawaii table).

This event would not be possible without the energy and efforts of our amazing event committee, spearheaded by hostess Lisa Anderson, and donations of wine and desserts by our generous community. Thank you to everyone involved, this is going to be a great party and we hope to raise significant funds for our financial aid endowment!
