Public Transportation

Northwest School is practically and philosophically committed to urban mass transit.

Access to the school is generally easiest from all outlying areas by taking any downtown bus and transferring at 4th and Pike to any eastbound Pike Street bus (routes 7, 10, 11, 14, 43) and getting off at the Minor Avenue stop (first stop after Boren Avenue). Driving Directions from I-5 North

1. Take the Olive Way Exit—Exit #166.
2. Take a Slight Right onto Olive Way.
3. Turn Right onto Melrose Ave.
4. Turn Left onto East Pike Street.
5. Turn Right onto Summit Ave.
6. End at 1415 Summit Ave. Seattle, WA.

Driving Directions from I-5 South

1. Take the Stewart Street Exit—Exit #166—toward Denny Way.
2. Turn Slight Left onto Eastlake Ave. East.
3. Eastlake Ave. East becomes Howell Street.
4. Turn Left onto Boren Ave.
