Meet NWS Students
Current NWS students will be available on Sunday to discuss their personal experiences. Students will be in classrooms and around the school to answer questions and tell you why they chose to come to Northwest.
Explore our House and Visit our Neighborhood
The Northwest School is set in an urban campus that is housed in a historic landmark—explore the hallways of the school and stop for coffee on Pike Street (Kaladi is a well-known NWS-haunt). After the open house visit Elliott Bay Book Co. on 10th street—we have a partnership with them and host an event at the store every fall. Get a feel for the school and the surrounding community so you can picture yourself here next fall.
Talk to NWS Parents
Current Northwest School Families help run our open houses. Be sure to meet some of our parents and talk to them about the school. They offer a wealth of information and can share with you stories only a parent would know—like that their son eats kale when it’s served in the Cafeteria or how their 8th grade daughter turned the dining room into a workshop the week she spent prepping for the annual bridge-building competition.
Departmental & Classroom Visits
Head into the classrooms and you’ll learn all about the academics offered at Northwest. Each classroom will house a different department and as you travel around the school faculty will share details about their department, the curriculum, and answer your questions. Here’s your chance to explore the academic opportunities at Northwest.
