Dear International Parents,
We are the International Parent Representatives of the NWS Parent Association. Although you live so far away, we hope to get to know you and your child and build a strong communication relationship to support you, your child, and the school. Because of the distance, most of our contact will be directly with your child.
The international parent representatives for your child's grade will contact your child at least once a quint to see how things are going for your son or daughter. The parent representatives do this through meetings and other more casual social gatherings. In addition, you will receive an email from us, in which we introduce ourselves and provide contact information for your child's parent representative. You may then contact your child's parent representative during the year if you would like.
Each Quint, all parent representatives (domestic and international) meet with school administrators to discuss how the school is serving its parent and student community. After each quintly meeting, the Upper School Director writes a Quint Reports in which he highlights quint events and activities and responds to issues raised during the Parent Rep meetings. These quint reports can be found on the secure parent section of the NWS website. If you have questions about the quintly meetings, or other issues, please do not hesitate to contact your grade level international parent representatives.
