Admissions
The Northwest School seeks students and parents who have a great desire to be part of our community. We look for students who will take full advantage of all we have to offer. The admissions process includes completion of the application requirements outlined in the admissions packet and an achievement test.
The selection process is based on a comprehensive evaluation of each applicant's completed file by our Admissions Committee. The committee carefully reviews each applicant's academic skills, extra-curricular activities, and letters of recommendation.
The Northwest School actively seeks a student body that is racially, geographically and socio-economically diverse and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. Individual circumstances and varied educational experiences are valued and taken into account in the decision-making process.
The Northwest School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, sex, disability, use of service animals, national or ethnic origin, or any other trait or characteristic protected by law in admission of otherwise qualified students; in providing access to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at The Northwest School; or in its administration of educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid, athletics, and other school-administered programs.
