Tiasha Datta
Modern Languages Faculty
Tiasha holds a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Washington and an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. Her research on queer Bengali linguistics has been featured at national conferences, and she’s also an accomplished bachata dancer and theater instructor.
Tiasha brings an infectious energy to her teaching and loves to weave music, movement, and culture into language learning. She’s excited to join The Northwest School—a place where her love of performing arts and world languages can come together in a joyful, creative way.
Each of these educators brings not only expertise but also heart, curiosity, and a deep care for students. We are so fortunate to have them joining our community, and I can’t wait for you to get to know them in the months ahead.
