Addison Morris
Substitute Teacher
| Addison has a degree in Anthropology with a minor in English and Mathematics (University of California, Santa Barbara), after studying in the Advanced Placement College of Creative Studies Mathematics program. During this time, they received the Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Education and Extraordinary Contribution to Campus Community. They earned a J.D. (Gould School of Law, USC) on a Merit Scholarship, where they also served as a Law Review Editor, International Human Rights Clinic Student Attorney, and received the Dorothy Wright Nelson Award for Social Justice. They have been a middle school and high school math tutor for over 10 years, including a seven-year tenure at The Cate School (Southern California). They have also worked as a Humanities Teacher at the Hakuba International School (Japan), where they taught middle and upper school English Literature. Addison has also worked as a writing fellow at USC and an after-school teacher at the Boys & Girls Club. Outside of work, Addison enjoys playing volleyball, racquetball, skiing, hiking, reading and doing art projects. They are also an avid traveler. |
