Ethan Sobotta
Performing Arts Faculty
Ethan has a Bachelor of Music Education (University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire) and a Mater of Music Education (Central Washington University).
He previously worked at Lakeside School as Low Strings Coordinator and Director of the Upper School Jazz Band. He has also taught Jazz II at Ingraham High School in Seattle, and teaches private lessons in double bass and electric bass. Ethan also served as the Director of the Arizona String Project, Director of Orchestras for Minnetonka Public School (MN), and served as a trainer for Apple, Inc. for five years.
He performs regularly with several bands, orchestras, and musical theater productions in Seattle.
