Hope Angel
Director of Human Resources
Hope holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (St. Mary University) and a Master of Science in Applied Information Management (University of Oregon). She brings more than 20 years of progressive HR leadership experience, most recently serving as the Associate Director of Human Resources for the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She also holds two HR certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Strategic HR Business Partner (S-HRBP).
Her career focuses on people-centered HR strategy, including faculty and staff lifecycle management, compensation and salary equity initiatives, organizational design, and process improvement. Hope has led complex HR teams, partnered closely with senior leadership, and developed systems that promote equity, transparency, and operational excellence in large, mission-driven institutions.
Outside of work, Hope can usually be found with a good book, painting landscapes and waterscapes, or happily spending time with her five adult children and many grandchildren.
