Mary Grace Antony, PhD

Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications

Mary Grace Antony has an accomplished background in academia, social science research, and strategic communications. She completed her Ph.D. in communication from Washington State University (2010) and was a university professor at the Pennsylvania State University, Schreiner University (tenured and department chair), Western Washington University and Edmonds College, among others. A multi-award winning social science researcher, she has published books and research articles that examine media studies, intercultural communication, audience reception and diversity studies.

Mary Grace has held senior positions in development and fundraising, marketing, communications and community relations at several regional nonprofits, including the Interfaith Family Shelter, the SEIU Healthcare 1199NW Training Fund, and Project Equity. She also served as the campus Diversity Chair at Schreiner University (Kerrville, TX) for six years. She is excited to serve the students and community at the Northwest School as Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications.

When she’s not at her desk, Mary Grace enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, reading graphic novels, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
