Nahara Sapha
School Nurse
Nahara holds a BS in Nursing (University of Detroit Mercy) and an MS in Nursing (University of Michigan). Her role at Northwest includes combines that of a Registered Nurse with administrative support.
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ARNP, FNP-BC), she brings nearly 10 years of professional experience, including work in Intensive Care Units in Detroit and New York City. Her training includes clinical knowledge across the lifespan (pediatrics to geriatrics). She has broad expertise in healthcare education, from teaching parents and children in primary care settings about best wellness practices, to training new graduate students in the ICU.
Nahara is deeply committed to holistic care and enhancing wellness systems that support our entire school community. In addition to providing expert medical care, she oversees Magnus Health (the student health information platform), and also serves on the school’s Safety Committee.
