Noah Short
Technical Director
Noah Short holds a BFA in Technical Theatre Design with an emphasis in Lighting Design, as well as a BS and MS in Management Information Systems (Iowa State University). His background experience spans technical theatre, design, production management, and education.
Noah has worked across regional theatre, national tours, Off-Broadway, Broadway, concerts, and live events. His theatre credits include The Book of Mormon, The Music Man, Little Shop of Horrors, Gutenberg! The Musical!, and True West. He has also worked as a production manager and designer for festivals and live events including Lollapalooza, Pitchfork Music Festival, SXSW, Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, and 80/35.
He discovered a love for helping students discover their own creativity through theatre when he returned to Iowa to teach during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has taught technical theatre, lighting design, stagecraft, and audio design, as well as directed several shows.
